Anna brings with her 7 years’ experience in the Health and Fitness industry, working in a sales capacity for many leading brands including Esporta, Living Well, and Precor. Anna has an impressive track record, exceeding sales targets year on year throughout her career. Anna’s appointment is just one of several new appointments the company plans to make in the next few years as part of its on going plan to maximise the company’s potential, as Jon Johnston, ClubRunner’s Sales and Marketing Manager explains, “Our investment in research and development is consolidating our success in our existing markets, but is also leading us into new industries. It is essential that we have the right people in place to meet everyone’s expectations, so we are delighted to welcome Anna to the company and have no doubt that she will make a significant contribution to our expanding team.”

ClubRunner’s Guests Raise their Game
The Warwickshire Golf & Country Club provided the ideal location for ClubRunner’s first company golf day with guests from all areas of ClubRunner’s business turning out to play.
Competition was stiff on the course, but luckily Strictly People had kindly donated golf balls to all competitors, which proved to be most welcome for some golfers in meeting the challenge of this beautiful, undulating golf course.
Despite dreary weather conditions, spirits remained high. A ‘Beat the Pro’ competition held on the Par 3 4th was a great success. For a small wager, each golfer was given the chance to play against a genuine professional golfer. Anyone beating the Pro doubled their money, while the Pros winnings all went to charity. The competition raised £115 for SPARKS (Sport Aiding Medical Research for Kids) as only two golfers managed to Beat the Pro; Iain Westwater of Gambado and Julian Mills of Thistle Hotels who, in the spirit of the day, donated their winnings back to SPARKS.
“The real aim of today was to thank our customers and suppliers for their ongoing support,” said Jon Johnston ClubRunner’s Marketing Manager. He added, “After today’s success this is bound to become an annual event and I’d like to thank our our guests for making this such a fun, relaxed day.”
Prizes for the golf day were kindly provided by Johnson Reed Corporate Credit and commercial insurance company, TL Dallas. Both companies also sponsored Nearest the Pin and Long Drive challenges, won respectively by Iain Westwater of Gambado and Richard Theaker of The Club Company.
The team event was won by Trevor Taylor - Insight RFID, Darren Johnson - Eddiecatz and Rick Waites - Gambado with an impressive 72 stableford points. Winning team member Trevor Taylor Managing Director of Insight RFID thoroughly enjoyed the day, “everything about the event was perfect – other than the weather! The course, company and ClubRunner team were all fantastic and I am genuinely looking forward to defending our title next year.”
Second place went to Richard Theaker - The Club Company, Mike Boyle - Activity World, Julian Mills - Thistle Hotels and Jamie Abbott - Intelligent Golf separated by only 3 points from third place Alex Cheaney & James Cheany – Monkey Biznezz and Iain Westwater & Simon Bailey – Gambado.
